Danish rosé at Grands Vin

Written by Anna | Jun 20, 2024 3:20:23 PM

At Grands Vin , it's grandma's recipe that is used when mother and daughter, Helle and Sofie, produce fruit wine on their farm in South Funen. Currently, they are making a rosé from blackcurrants and a white wine from gooseberries, both made from Danish ingredients and aimed at organic production. The berries are sourced from Danish farms – blackcurrants from Samsø and gooseberries from Skærbæk in Southern Jutland.

We recommend stopping by Grands Vin to have a nice chat with Sofie, Helle, or one of the other friendly people at the farm. Of course, we also recommend that you take a bottle or two home with you. Grands Vin is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but open the rest of the week from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Remember that you can rent a car on GoMore for your trip.
