On Falster, several gems line up at Hesnæs near Horbelev. Namely, the dining spot Pomlenakke and the Dining Table & Bakery Hesnæs Havn. Pomlenakke is a restaurant situated atop a cliff with only the sound of the sea's surf and the whispering beech trees as "noise". For lunch, you can enjoy open sandwiches with a view over the water, or a finer menu in the evening. The chef prefers to use what is locally available in the area, focusing on good quality.
If you then take a walk along the beach or through the forest, after 20-30 minutes, you will reach the bakery at Hesnæs Havn and can have your afternoon coffee and cake there. You can sit in the chairs outside in the sun or take it to-go down to the beach. Tip: Also grab a sourdough bread to have for breakfast in the following days.
Remember that you can rent a car on GoMore for your trip.
