On the edge of Lammefjorden lies the Danish vineyard Vejrhøj, overlooking the moraine landscape of Odsherred and Sejrø Bay. The vineyard is owned by Nina and Niels, who had a dream of working with plants and therefore founded the place in 2011. The fields are cultivated organically, and they mainly produce white wine but also produce sparkling wine and rosé from blue grapes.
We recommend taking a walk through the vineyards. Perhaps sit on one of the benches and enjoy the view - maybe with a glass of white wine for those not driving. There are also good hiking opportunities in the area and routes that pass by the vineyard. Be sure to check their opening hours on their website before heading out.
