The married couple Katrine and Henrik felt that Fanø was missing a good bakery. With their own deep love for sourdough, they decided to open [Fanø Mikrobageri](https://www.fanomikrobageri.dk/) on the island in 2020. In 2022, they opened the doors to their small, cozy bakery in Nordby.

Their passion for sourdough baking is clearly evident on [their social media](https://www.instagram.com/fanomikrobageri/), where they showcase the immense love and care put into everything they make. They are true enthusiasts, always learning and improving. The bakery is definitely worth a visit if you're on Fanø and in need of bread for breakfast, something sweet for your afternoon coffee, or just a little treat.

Remember that you can rent a car on [GoMore](https://gomore.dk/biludlejning) for your trip.
