Natur destination Skovsgaard

Located in the south of Langeland, Naturdestinationen Skovsgaard is a natural oasis for families with children and nature enthusiasts. The estate has 400 hectares of land, of which just over half is dedicated to wild grazing and nature with free-roaming cattle and wild horses. You can experience and pet these animals in their natural environment, take the kids on nature adventures and discover exciting species you may have never seen before. You can explore thickets and waterholes, play ‘guess a turd’ and cook over a campfire with ingredients from nature.

To strengthen children's understanding of nature, Skovsgaard has selected 99 species that all children should know before they become adults. Knowing these 99 species provides a solid foundation for understanding and appreciating the diversity of Danish nature. All this will be introduced to you by cool nature guides who will take you by the hand. If you get thirsty or hungry, you can visit Cafe Haven, and you can also spend the night in houses, tents or shelters.
