Terms of agreement for GoMore Keyless
Prior to activation of GoMore Keyless, you must agree to the following terms:
Subscription, price and termination
- The price for your GoMore Keyless subscription is CHF 18.00 per month.
- The subscription begins when GoMore activates the Keyless technology in your vehicle.
- The subscription is charged from the balance of your GoMore profile. If there are insufficient funds in the balance of your GoMore profile, GoMore will charge the outstanding amount from the payment card connected to your GoMore profile.
- The subscription is automatically renewed until you choose to cancel it.
- The minimum subscription period is one month.
- The subscription can be cancelled with one month's notice. This means that you as a minimum agree to one month subscription period.
- If you want to cancel your GoMore Keyless subscription this must be done in writing to keyless@gomore.ch. The agreement terminates when the cancellation is confirmed and the function is disconnected in the car profile.
Right of cancellation
- You have 14 days to cancel the GoMore Keyless subscription.
- The 14 days to cancel begins when you accept these terms of agreement and ends 14 days hereafter. The cancellation right applies if you give notice of cancellation up to 14 days after the terms are accepted.
- The cancellation period only applies if GoMore Keyless technology has not been activated in your car. At the time of activation, you give up the right to cancel your subscription within the first 14 days.
- By accepting these terms of agreement you accept that the cancellation period is forfeited at the time the Keyless technology is activated in your car by GoMore.
- If you want to apply your right of cancellation you must - before the keyless device is activated in your car and before the end of the cancellation period of 14 days - in writing inform GoMore hereof on keyless@gomore.ch
Activation and Deactivation
- Activation of GoMore Keyless requires you to grant GoMore access to your vehicle through the built-in connectivity.
- Once the GoMore Keyless technology has been activated in your vehicle, you must confirm to GoMore within 7 days that all functions are working as intended. The GoMore Keyless functions cannot be activated for renters until GoMore receives this confirmation from you.
- Not all car models support automatic reading of fuel and mileage. Here values will be noted manually by renters through the app. Other features of the car, for example automatic folding of side mirrors, may be disabled during Keyless Rental.
- You can request the deactivation of the technology in your vehicle at any time. The deactivation request must be made in writing to keyless@gomore.ch.
- If you have activated GoMore Keyless technology in a GoMore leasing vehicle, it is your responsibility to cancel the subscription before returning the leasing vehicle.
- In case the GoMore [Rental terms], [General terms] and/or [Terms of agreement for GoMore Keyless] are not fulfilled, GoMore reserves the right to have GoMore Keyless disconnected from your car immediately. In such a case, this agreement terminates and you will be charged a fee of equivalent to one month subscription.
Requirements to the car
By accepting these terms of agreement, you confirm that your car fulfills the following demands:
- The car has a centralized locking system.
- The car has a spare key.
- The car is approved for driving in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
- There are no active warning lights on the dashboard indicating issues with the vehicle.
- The car will be active for rental on GoMore’s platform.
- The car has an active parking license with free parking to one or several areas, or a private free parking space, which is always free and available.
- The car is parked in a publicly accessible location with reliable mobile data coverage. If this is not the case (garage parking space), GoMore Keyless can still be installed, under the condition that the car owner has the opportunity to move the car to a parking space with the specified requirements before the start of a rental booking.
Other requirements
By accepting these terms of agreement, you accept the following requirements:
- The car is only to be rented out on GoMore's platform.
- Small wear and tear damages, which are not visible on photos in the rental contract, are at your own responsibility. GoMore cannot be held responsible for such damages in any way.
- Information about your vehicle, including its location, will be shared with GoMore to enable Keyless rental bookings. Additionally, you agree to our [Privacy Policy], which describes how data from the Keyless device is used.
- During a rental, you are not allowed to interact with the vehicle or check its location through other technologies that have access to the vehicle (e.g., the vehicle manufacturer's app).
- Only for Tesla: You must activate a PIN code that the renter must use to start the car during the rental. Teslas with GoMore Keyless cannot be rented out on GoMore without a PIN code. If Keyless is enabled on your rental listing, you confirm that a PIN code is activated. Unless you confirm in writing that you waive this security measure and take responsibility for it.
- You are always responsible for locking the vehicle via the GoMore app before a keyless rental and ensuring that the doors are locked correctly.
- You only place the key in the car when you have an upcoming rental and as close as possible to the start of the rental period and retrieve the key from the car's glove compartment at the end of the rental. If you want to keep the key in the car frequently or more permanently, GoMore recommends that you keep the key in an RFID pouch, which is kept in a locked key box inside the glove compartment.
- GoMore is not liable for costs such as loss of rental in connection with a malfunction of the Keyless system.
- Before activating Keyless, the car must be registered and you as a car owner must have created a car profile on GoMore with the corresponding car license plate number.
- If the car is not registered and/or a car profile has not been created prior to Keyless installation, GoMore will charge a fee of CHF 50 for extra handling time in connection with creating the car profile and activating Keyless.
- After a rental, the vehicle owner has two days (48 hours) to report any new damage to the vehicle. Minor wear and tear damages that are not visible in rental contract photos are your responsibility, and GoMore cannot be held liable for such damages in any way.
- GoMore's rental insurance is valid for the rental period documented in the booking and rental contract of the vehicle.
- If you own a Smartcar, it is your responsibility to find out how your vehicle's immobilizer works and how to protect your car from unauthorized use. Please note that GoMore does not take any liability for the immobilizer of Smartcars.
- You are responsible for regularly checking the functionality of the immobilizer and deciding whether the car should be rented with or without the immobilizer activated. GoMore cannot be held liable for cars without an active immobilizer.
Changes to terms
- GoMore may change the above terms, including fees and prices with a minimum notice of one month. Price increases may be the result of price inflation, market developments, increases in the costs of GoMore, or the need for increased profitability and earnings.
- You are always in your right to cancel your subscription, if the monthly subscription price is increased by GoMore. Cancellation must be done in writing to keyless@gomore.ch no later than one month after the price increase was announced by GoMore.
