Deep in Sorø's Sønderskov forest, where the light falls beautifully through the treetops, you'll find café Atelier Skoven. Here, art, culture and nature come together in a unifying breathing space.
Atelier skoven is created by two artistic souls, Christina and Sven, who, with a background in music and puppetry, have transformed an old forester's farm in the middle of Sorø's Sønderskov forest into a small sanctuary of a café. Here, sensuality and taste are in focus when birdsong is spiced with the smell of freshly baked bread and coffee.
Each dish is a sensory experience in itself. Christina and Sven make everything from scratch and draw inspiration for each dish directly from the forest. They take the seasons as their starting point and you will see the flora of the forest reflected on the plates. The place exudes presence and togetherness and you can be sure that all the senses come into play here.
